BibleBuddy Kids

An iPhone app with 1,416 accounts that teaches kids Bible stories through short lessons and quizzes.

I built it alone, and it averages 4.8 stars across 124 App Store ratings. The first version was a web app in a wrapper. I rebuilt it in SwiftUI and had the rebuild on the App Store seven days after its first commit.

A story, then a quiz

Kids go through one short Bible story at a time, with a quiz after each.

The SwiftUI rebuild

I rebuilt the wrapped web app in SwiftUI with StoreKit 2. After the rebuild, 51% of the active users who signed in came back more than a day after they started, against 9.5% of active users before. Signing in was optional, so the 51% counts only the 61 users who chose to sign in.
